What is Kiwanis?

Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world one child and one community at a timeKiwanis International serves children and communities worldwide with nearly 600,000 adult and youth members in more than 80 nations and geographic areas. 

The Louisiana-Mississippi District was organized in January 1920. In November 1938, the western part of Tennessee was added to create the Louisiana-Mississippi-West Tennessee (LaMissTenn) District. The nearly 4,000 members of the District, and their 120 clubs are committed to developing future generations of leaders through guidance and example. They are ordinary people, performing extraordinary work in their communities every day.
